A timeless ingredient that supports a sense of relaxation and well-being.

Magnesium Chloride Flakes

Sourced from the ancient Zechstein Seabed — a pristine underground deposit — magnesium chloride flakes are among the purest forms of magnesium available. This remarkable mineral lends a uniquely luxurious, skin-softening quality to our bars, leaving skin feeling deeply relaxed, smooth, and beautifully replenished.

All micas used are approved for cosmetic use and skin-safe.

Fragrance Oils vs. Essential Oils — What's the Difference?

Not all scents are created equal, and we think you deserve to know exactly what's in your bar.

Essential oils are pure, plant-derived extracts — steam-distilled or cold-pressed directly from botanicals like lavender flowers, peppermint leaves, or citrus rinds. They carry the true aromatic character of the plant and are the foundation of our scented bars whenever possible.

Fragrance oils are synthetic or blended aromatic compounds, often designed to replicate scents that can't be captured through distillation — think fresh rain, warm vanilla, or complex gourmand blends. While they are not plant-derived, cosmetic-grade fragrance oils are formulated to be skin-safe and are widely used throughout the personal care industry.

At Trulane Soap & More, we clearly note in each product's description whether it is scented with essential oils, fragrance oils, or both — so you always know what you're getting.
